Oh the mystery of "The King of Pop!" The verdict is in & will be revealed at 4PM. Don't you know that Michael is nerveous, because his life is hanging in the balance. I know that I'm nerveous and it has nothing to do with me, except I've admired his talents, just not his life-style. I started this thread, thinking that some would like to share their feelings here about it. Oh well, the world shall soon know. As Texan just shared, this could be Micheal final walk in freedom, as he walks into the courthouse holding him umbrella. One thing about it, there won't be an umbrella needed in prison...ouch.

Michael Jackson is a recidivist child molester who is at best mentally and emotionally unstable. His being on the streets is solely because of his money and the only crimes greater than the ones he has committed are those of the parents who allow their children to be alone with him. Both should be in jail, period!

DaRu - I never even assumed that. ;o)
I never wanted to see the King of Pop turned into a monster, and I don't particularly agree with the way prosecution handled the case - namely bringing forward such a monster of a woman. But I also don't beleive he should be allowed to get away with some of the things it was obvious he's done.
*shrug* The case was a mess and in all fairness the verdict was probably appropriate to the way the case was handled. But it still gets under my skin that he got away with EVERYTHING.

If a normal person was accused of giving alcohol to minors they would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but because he's Michael Jackson he gets away with it...
*sigh*
I guess there was really no good way to end this trial...

What this boils down to i am afraid is not whether or not he is guilty, but whether or not anyone can prove it. He may have done it, probably did infact, but with the witnesses that the DA had to put on the stand there is no way he could have been convicted. Now if there was a charge of being a weirdo he would have been guilty, but so would many of us. Not as bad of weirdo's i hope but weirdos none the less. BTW if there are any of you who do not know i am also Calalta.

Sorry everyone....I just had to add something else. I do agree with most comments by everyone. I guess I was pretty emotional when I typed it, after just hearing the verdict...lol. Anyway, I don't think anyone should go scot free just because they have money or a their famous. Regardless, whether poor or rich, justice should be served, and I just feel today, the Jurors based the not guilty verdict on the evidence presented and were all in agreement that he wasn't guilty. Now, I strongly feel he must change his behavior with children. Now, one more thing, I really don't care for the majority of his songs, and wouldn't attend a concert if free...lol. I do admire his talents and what's he accomplished in life, and wouldn't want to see his life distroyed if not guilty. Like jstkdn said, "I donno" but the Lord does. According to the Jurors being interviewed on TV right now, they all seemed to dislike the Mom who brought the suit because of her behavior. One Juror was talking about the telephone witness, and KiKi's testimony to be very crediable. OH well, enough out of me.....I'm not trying to convience ya'll...lol. In fact, I might better go hide in a deep dark cave awhile.....Hope I'm still loved around here after this....lol.

DaRu I wouldn't worry too much about not being loved. You don't like his music and that's enough reason right there for me to love you!

See Marcus - we're all being very nice about this!

PS: Before I pack my bags and go into hiding today......I promise no blood baths here in Sleuthville. The only blood allowed is from the criminals we're all after....hehe.

DaRu, lets out a long breath in relief, as she replies to Envy and says, "Thanks sweetie!", that makes me feel better, then ....gives a thumbs up signal at MarcusAndrews...letting him know, all is well.
