Hello folks, it seems almost daily that I get at least 1 request to join sleuth chat. Which I all do approve. It has no 85 members.

So lack of membership is not a problem. The problem is, that people joined one at a time.
And with that people log in a few times, and no one is ever on chatting. So people stop logging in.

Shall I regard this as an experiment failed. Or, are we gonna try this week, to check more often if anyone is in the chat room?

It makes no sense to log in once for 5 seconds to see if anyone is there. The chances are too small to catch anyone. But if a few people try to log in permanently by having it open in the back ground. Then there is always someone waiting for someone.

Do we want to give this a trial, or shall I close sleuthchat??? I hate for people to go through the trouble of joining, while it is inactive.

Perhaps it is an idea if people commited to log in to sleuthchat when they are also logged in to sleuth. If we have a list of people, then if you do a who's online in sleuth, you know you won't be checking for nothing in Sleuthchat.
