OK ... as there are so many readers and writers here, we'll see if this is popular ...

I'll post a list of dictionary definitions and see if you can provide the word. I'll try to balance between making it too hard and making it interesting. I'll try and make it so that, even if you don't one right, you'll at least have heard the word before. For each quiz, all answers will begin with the same letter:

Pout I got it wrong. With this game I notice that I have been trained in high school with English as a second language instead of first. The only meaning of English words I ever had to learn, is what they mean in Dutch. :)

Aww, Marcus! I love words. One of my favourite books to read (and, I know, this is going to make me sound very sad!) is the dictionary. I really enjoy examining the subtle difference between synonymous words and tracing the etymology of words to their roots.
