Is it OK to have more than one detective in the game? I can see no problem if they are not interacting, but what if they're in the same agency or something?

Hi,

You can make as many detectives as you want (though one will usually wind up taking precedence over the others) - many of us have more than one detective, but just use the one we like best most of the time.

The official rule about agencies is that you can't have more than two detectives from the same IP address in one agency.

I think the non-official (or is it actually official? Not sure and even less sure why I'm answering since this is not my area of expertise and the whole "doubles"/"multi" issue is a can of worms) rule so far has been that the same person is allowed to have a maximum of 2 subscribed detectives within the same agency. But I also think this rule can be bent as well as exemptions made.

Other than that I'm guessing you're allowed to have as many unsubscribed detectives as you care to keep track of :)

Thank you all, that was very helpful.
I've seen many people have two detectives in the same agency (including me) and I was wondering if doing hunts with them would be cheating, although I can see how it's not such a huge advantage to have just two :)
I'll go back to sleuthing now, you guys have fun!
