In one of the cases i was solving....i got 2 witness evidences against one person and 1 witness evidence + Handwriting evidence against the second person...now i was not sure..which one to accuse...so i ended up quitting the case..

the 2 witness evidences against the first person are all based on previous attempt and verbal threat..while the second one had "seen leaving the crime scene" and handwritten threat...
Just curious to know which one would have been the killer?
:(

It probably would have been the person with 2WE. In the past, I have never had a person not be guilty if they have two witnesses accuss them.

Yes, it would have been the person with the 2 witnesses pointing at him/her :)

You always need either no/false alibi and Physical Ev, Witness Ev and PE or 2WE. The 2 WE is a backup if you are unlucky enough not to know or be able to ascertain whether the alibi is false so technically you should always (ha ha) be able to solve a case...

I would like it if you quit a case, you get to know who was guilty. Can we do that, Ben? You work for 30, 40 ,50 mins and have to quit (shady now costs me over $200,000) it would be great to know if your guess was right.

yeah more like the who wants to be a millionaire type...you can quit but can take a guess later to see if it matched...i like it

actually this idea was brought up awhile back and as I said before, I don't think it is a good idea. It's better to keep it real. If a real detective quit a case, he wouldn't know who did it, and it wouldn't be handed to him on a silver platter, so to speak.

That is the challenge of it and the mystery of it, not knowing who it was because we quit. If we know we are going to have the answer even when we quit, then what is the motivation to even want to complete it?

This game is a realistic game, and if we were able to know the answer by quitting, it would take that away.

I like how it is right now.

Only my opinion ofcourse :)

I really do loathe to agree with Makensie but she's right of course. If a real detective quit a case he would not know who did it, UNLESS it was a well-publicized case and then all the newspapers would be identifying the SUSPECT for the detective only to eat his heart out because he let a good case go. Sort of like the City News.
