Some of us have interesting reasons to pick a detective name. What is yours?

jstkdn which some people don't realize right away stands for JuST KiDding! It is something I tend to say a lot in real life after a lot of sentences. A good friend of mine in the US had jstkdn as a license plate of her car, so I wasn't that inventive myself.

My previous other agent was PM, which stands for Project/Program Manager, my profession in real life.

My only detective that I currently play with is freelancermountaineer. Only because Freelancer was taken. Sidney Bristow in the Alias series uses two call signs freelancer and mountaineer.

I used to have an Legend of the Five Rings(L5R) character by the name Mirumoto Akano who was a Kitsuki Investigator of the Dragon Clan. By the end of the campaign Akano was the Dragon Clan's Head Magistrate and Yoriki(Assistant Investigator) to the Emerald Magistrate Kitsuki Kaigan. Anyway in order to duplicate Akano's observational abilities I bought skills around his abilities. Good thing Akano also had the ability make people crap their pants with intimidation or else I might've been screwed in this game.

First I hade a detective called Ms J, wich is the first letter in my last name. Then I got totally hooked on this and started another det. called Ms C which is the first letter of my boyfriends name. Ms C became a favorit so I dropped Ms J. And then Ms C got retired, so then Ms Cevasco came up. But I'm telling you if there are any newbies reading this, that I was so god damn mad when Ms C got retired!! To have a good detective with alot of skills and then being so stupid that you don't pay off Shady in time.. Well I'll learned from my mistakes I hope.

Mine's kinda simple - I used the name everyone calls me by combined with a number that used to be the number of a house I lived in years ago (I don't know why, but that number seems to stay in my head).

My reason is really stupid. When I was a little girl I remeber watching an advert in which a dreamy guy asks a girl her name. She switches "Hello Marylou" on the Jukebox. He then comes back later with a Tatoo of a heart with Marylou in it. Only Marylou isn't her name. I don't even remember what the ad was for. But I so wanted to be called Marylou and some guy to be so crazy about me he got it tattoed on his arm.

Well, Caitey, my original detective, is based on my name, Katie. I used to spell it like that in school because I thought it looked different lol. Then I started again as I screwed her skills up. I wanted Lolly, but it was taken. So I added an L. I have no idea why Llolly.... It just came into my head!
