Some of us have interesting reasons to pick a detective name. What is yours?

jstkdn which some people don't realize right away stands for JuST KiDding! It is something I tend to say a lot in real life after a lot of sentences. A good friend of mine in the US had jstkdn as a license plate of her car, so I wasn't that inventive myself.

My previous other agent was PM, which stands for Project/Program Manager, my profession in real life.

My only detective that I currently play with is freelancermountaineer. Only because Freelancer was taken. Sidney Bristow in the Alias series uses two call signs freelancer and mountaineer.

picture belongs to Gabriel Byrne(as Marcia Gay Harden putting a gun against his head by the chin) and the shot is from Coen Bros' Miller's Crossing. He had a thing for his hat. The hat was one of the recurring symbolic themes in the movie, and it stood for a restless quest of belonging in an unpredictable world with no reference points, I believe. It's been years I saw it, I may as well be exagerrating and romanticizing the movie and where the hat belongs in it.

Dessel = Main character in the novel "Path of destruction"
Hawk = Main character in the Game "Dragon Age 2"
Cooper = From the games with the thief Sly Cooper

I took Alister from the person that was called the wickedest man who ever lived, Alister Crowley. As for Bane? I'm not really sure, it just kinda popped in my head, it paired well and no one else had it.

My actual middle name is Joseph and everyone has always called me Joey for short, go figure. *Looks around nervously* Coincidence? Or conspiracy? :D

Well now...my paranoia says...CONSPIRACY!!!

However, the "official" explanation is that Joey Bane is the main character in an old kids game called Gangsters 2. Bulldog is...just something I see in the miror every mornin'....

I chose mine because autumn is my favorite season, and i love water. autumnsprings sounded a lot better than fall ocean, lol. :)
