well jstkdn, im sure you've completed a few more cases than the average detective too! It hardly matters how many cases you quit! :D

If you quit all your favors trying to get one in particular, you will be cash strapped for sure, since you won't get the cool gear to sell.

If you want the priest, you don't have to quit PE favors (Barber, Banker, ShoeMaker, Tailor) because you will get one PE contact and one non-PE contact.

i wonder how dimitroulis2 got as far as he has. He obviously hasnt read the faqs or help very well.

i suspect he was trying to ask a diff questn. he actually has got a contact (banker) but he is confusing concepts and simply doesnt know contacts from suspects from witnesses and the rest.

he's not alone though. i have walked over to the recruitment thread and had a look before. it is amazing how many eager beaver non subscribers are playing a detective game yet cant read simple rules.

Shroud, really, there is no need to be so unkind. We are all learning around here. And all questions about the game are always welcome.

well perhaps, but when i first started I didnt read the rules. I picked things up as I went along. You make some mistakes, but thats part of life. The whole point of the newbies message board is to help people out if they're having trouble!

Same for me...when I started, I went along learning it on my own, because i didnt know any better lol We've all made mistakes when we were newbies, so I always make sure to give patience, friendliness, and kindness to new ones coming in. I always remember how I started out so....I put myself in their shoes, and help them the very best that I can and for however long they need it, even if I've repeated myself over and over...it is ok : ) I'm glad , when I first started, that I had people with patience and kindness helping me :) I'm sure I was as dumb as a box of rocks when I first started LOL Everyone is so wonderful here..ehh I'll shuddup..who needs a friggin Hallmark moment in the newbie section!!!! LOL ;)

Anyways, patience and kindness I always give to newbies :) *clamping mouth shut and getting back on topic*
