Clearly this is *not* a critical issue, but I was just looking at the "See Who's Logged On" list and it struck me that the information listed there would not very helpful for a newbie looking for a new agency or someone to ask a question to. Perhaps instead of archtype and status it could list the agency the detective is in (if applicable) and how old they are?

I want to say first to Orbitrux, I know you are an experinced player and know the game, etc..... no offense meant to you or anyone else for that matter.

If you click on their name it shows you what agency. I think it would be nice to see the agency listed beside the detective just because the game plays really slow and clicking on new screens really suck! Yes, I have a high speed cable modem that works fine every where else, but the game is slow. (sucks in a hunt)
Maybe the server or program can't handle all the ideas we want. Most of what is suggested by players are good ideas. Maybe the adminis don't have the time or money.

I still consider myself a newbie. When I first started, I spent 3 days just perusing the site. I went back through months of message board stuff. I learned who the agencies were, what they stood for, what they wanted etc. As well as learned about alot of the players before I even met any of them. There's alot there to know for anyone who takes the time to look. Who wants someone in their agency that can't do a little research or actual investigating? Why make it simple? The game is here to make you think. If you can't figure out how to find someone or what agency they are in, then learn how to!!! There is no instant gratification in real life! Ya got work for all of it!

How strange Morley that Sleuth is slow for you! I have dial-up (connected at 28.8 kbps) and Sleuth moves faster than any other site I visit.

It's only slow while I'm playing a case. Every once in a while when I'm on the boards. Of course, I think slow is a blink of an eye. Which is how web pages come up for me. I keep my computer quite clean from things that could slow it down. Not that I'm an expert, but I know more than enough. Something on my computer or in the game itself slows it down. Right now, I'm leaning towards the game, as it has been mentioned in another thread about people having the same problem and Ben responding about why it might be a problem. And it only happens on the sleuth site. If it's on my computer, I'll find it! I'm still gonna play the game regardless!!

I think this is a good idea orbi. Have it all at a glance. Instead of having to click on individual detective pages.

Maybe the column labeled Active (or status) could be changed to agency. I think the only option besides active is new (you could hardly be inactive or retired and logged on...), so there is really no useful information from that one, and Agency would be better.

Well maybe it was supposed to say subscribed or not subscribed when Ben created it. I don't know.
But yes you are right, it is strange to log in with a retired agent. :)

ANother thing it indicates is moderator. Which I know is useful for some people. I have received PMs alerting me for message board stuff, as people were waiting for mod to show up online.
