Just a thought...I sure hate letting baddie go free, but I'm trying to get "in" with the Eastern Triads.
One way I thought that might be helpful and be more true to the game was:
So...if you complete this case (yada yada)will improve. Also your standing with (blah blah) with go down.
BUT....
If you quit this case right now....The reverese will happen!!
