Let me ask permission first from Bea, and Jan-Peter. :) But if Maxima is allowed to know it, I don't see why you can't.

For the non-Dutch:
Bea is Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
Jan-Peter is Jan-Peter Balkenende our president.
Maxima married our crown prince. Was a Argentinian resident, who Dutch status got approved in months, instead of years. Incidentally she is the daughter of the right hand man of the dictator Videla.

On the soda/pop dilemma I've got to agree with Blaise Joshua and say its pop coz in England where I am, soda is something totally different its like a fizzy bitter water that you can have with white wine or vodka and lime and stuff. Don't know what the drink we call soda is called in places that call drinks like cola and lemonade soda?

To the second question of Water/Italian ice:
I consider both to be the same: a flavored ice-blended product (no dairy involved), still intended to be eatten with a spoon, but not actually icy, with ice crystals. Wow. That makes no sense whatsover. But try anyway. Rita's it the stereotypical brand around here.
What Dogberta calls "crushed ice" would also be called Snow Cones around here.
Jstkdn's "Soft Ice" is known as soft serve (ice cream). And ice cream... well, sorry to disapoint, but that's what we actually call it.
Amazing, isn't it?
