When is it worth it to go to Lucy's cabaret? If you buy equipment from her does it depreciate like it does when you buy it from the detective store? And what do you have to do to be able to talk to Lucy? And why would I want to talk to Lucy?

It is worth it to go to Lucy's in certain states of treasure hunts.
Equipment is always the same price at Lucy. Prices don't get higher or lower.
As to when she talks....I may or may not have answered that above. :)
THis is one of the later features, we all had to do some exploring to find out what Lucy is all about. THat's the fun part.

We used to wonder the same thing when Larry first showed up. I, myself, spent a small fortune trying to get her to talk. She will talk under certian circumstances but must need her for a hunt.

Yes to the question about depreciation. Gear from Lucy's is like any other gear - the list price is NOT what you will get if you later resell it at the Detective shop.

Oh yeah your right miss. I understood that Olliver meant that the prices would get cheaper if you visited it more often. But I guess he meant, that if you sell it it depreciates. Then yes, it does.

Sunny once said you can only use that location until you open your next case. I know you can go back more than once if you have not opened another case, but I don't know if it carries over overnight.

I think it does carries overnight.
I learnt about it after I had finished a favor for the priest, father Gesling, on my second day. I foolishly paid for it with all the money I had. Then I found out that it had no use to me at all. Trying to make the best use out of my money, I had gone to it the next day and stayed for a while before I started another case.
I still remember the painful experience till this day...
