Ok, now i`m confused...
I played the hard level ( or really hard) and I got a footprint and witness to (let`s call her)Sue. Everybody had clammed up, so I accused her.
But it was not her, and I had to pay Shady nearly all my cash... So, do I need more evidence the higher I go, and can the evidence lie?
(ok, maybe it was too soon, but just for fun...)

The rules of evidence stay the same
The alibi must be fake (or they say they have none)
There will be one piece of physical evidence linking them to the crime (but every other piece of physical evidence will link someone who has a real alibi.
there will be TWO witnesses who place them at the crime scene (but there will be one who places someone else, who has a real alibi.

As you move up the cases get harder - you will get move evidence, most of it misleading (4 is max)

The suspect list will get longer, and the number who have fake alibies will get longer (so on inc. hard, you will get prob. 4 who have fakes and 8 or 9 total)

And the suspects clam up sooner, so you need higher interview skills, and more charming (or tough) gear.

If you don't have a fake alibi confirmed, the evidence can appear to lie.

Ok, in this case she clammed totally up and I could not check her alibi. And I had already 4 people with real alibis. Well, live and learn :):)
