Umm... Perhaps you should start working on cases. Money doesn't grow on trees, you know.

Well it is hard to work on cases, when you are retired after only succesfully solving 1 easy game.

Daniel, I hope you start over!

A new player can get help by subscribing and joining an agency.

You can also take fewer risks that might lead to retirement by QUITTING cases you're not sure about.

The most money we make comes from selling the gifts we earn from favors. (Unless you get really lucky at the track in Shanghai, of course!)

Start on easy initially. Try an intermediate. And like Falco said, quit, instead of accuse, unless you are sure.

Hmm... so I guess he needed that money to bribe the shady guy. Too bad he couldn't make it.

The infant mortality rate of this game is high. I almost had to retire once before when I (foolishly) started playing the intermediate mysteries. I spent my money on useless things like the Magnifying Glass. I also gave money to find Big Lucy's out of curiosity. Bah!

When I look back, I feel very lucky that I'm still in the business. And now I'm playing hard mysteries everyday and have enough money to pay the shady guy if I messed up 7 times in a row. Not that I make any mistake lately anyway.

So, Daniel, don't give up! The game is at the hardest when you're a newbie. After you've gotten out of easy state safely, you'll be fine.

It's a lot like real PIs actually. Every year, there are new "PIs" listed in the phone book who aren't there the following year. What an accurate reflection this game is : o )
