But if your agency is busy, reading the log is a lot like reading the City News when every race result was posted. Lots and lots of info that is mostly really redundant. x put the white coat in the locker. x took the zoot coat from the locker. x put the fur hat in the locker. x took the zoot hat from the locker. You can imagine....

Its a godsend if you have a serious problem - like some agent selling all your gear, or stealing from the safe, but if you have a good crew, its pretty much a waste of money. We let ours go months ago.

It can come in handy, but I agree that I rarely need it. I don't think it would hurt to try it out though, as you can always see what it's like and then fire them.

I guess the best way to find out is hiring one for a day. You can fire too.

I have one for very long time now. I also rarely use it. But the reason I still didnt fire him is that when Im in doubt I do check with the clerck. So instead of blaming someone I can first check the logs and disscover what happend.

We had a serie of ghosts in locker lately. Someone was taking equipment and changing it to dogs (yes you read it right!) By using the clerk and with cfm's clever thinking we disscovered it was a bug, that had to do with fast clicking on items. If we didnt had the clerck this might have turend into accusations of innocents. So that is why Im happy to pay him to sit around and drink cocktails... at least till we need him.
