Subscribing and joining an agency could get you some help on cases like this from other agents in the agency.
But when in doubt with a totally clammed case, unsubscribed and on your own, it's best to quit the case. Quits don't hurt anything but your pride, whereas false accusations lead to permanent retirement or big bills to pay off the shady guy.
