I suppose there's no way to have a look at the real estate properties available on the market, while you're already part of an agency?

Not that I'm thinking of leaving the Mojo Jojo Agency, of course - I'm just curious to see what exists....

Maybe the Real Estate agents could let you 'browse' their files, while refusing to let you take a lease?

Or does it have something to do with me being in an agency, but not being an agency director?

yes, Directors can change location, so they can look at properties, and folks who are not in agencies can also look at properties (don't know if you need to be subscribed, though).

Yeah, all detectives can see which types of location are available in New York, but you need to be subscribed to see those in the other cities.

Perhaps that could be under the research files. It would be cool to see all the options avalible in the different cities.

Currently directors can see real estate in all cities (through the move hq command), and detectives who are not part of an agency can see real estate in the city they are currently in (at the real estate agency), non-directors can't see any, other than by looking at other agencies.

You're right, it would be nice to browse at the real estate agency. I'll look into that.

You can create another character to look at real estate, but of course only in NY unless you actually subscribe the other character.

You can also look at the features of lots of real estate by clicking on the link at the different agencies.

Thanks Ben, for taking this up, as it's a bit awkward for non-directors thinking of striking out on their own or simply curious.

Yeah, that was me, Moonshh - just curious, and only being able to see what other agencies were using - though why anyone would settle for the Whisky Cellar was a bit beyond me!

Heh. :-)

Sorry to be pushy, ben - but any news on this?

Ok, done. Sorry about the delay.

People in agencies can now view a listing of available properties at the Real Estate Agency. You still only see the properties available in your current city, however.
