Does anyone know where i can find a good bodyguard in Shaghai, I am a charming detective and i do not trust the boat driver to take me back to Dehli alone with my $95,000 in winnings from the track this afternoon. Catpharac is my new hero :)

As soon as I get enough skill points for Pugilism, I might be willing to be a bodyguard

Bah... You give Shady too much credit. He'd agree for 96K.

Okay, I have been away a while, do we need to hire body guards now? I am in Shanghi away from my agency, is this a problem?

jstkdn, I don't ever want to ruffle your bad side, if there is one...hehe. In fact, you can be my body guard any time. I'd love to learn self-defense moves, but not sure if I can with my bad back and other health problems. But every gal should know how to defend themselves against an attacker.

DaRu, granted I got my brown belt at the age of 14. But....now I am almost 32, bad knees, bad back, bad balance, overweight, ......and still can use self defense. There is a BIG difference between full blown martial arts, and self defense though.

I have given up that I wil ever do fly kicks again, break stones with my hand, or use my sai's or nunchaks again. But I can still do dammage. The first trick in self defense...SCREAM...it scares the hell out of your attacker. A knee in the groin, or a good hit on a solar plexis, a wack in the neck, or twists someone limbs in the opposite direction, and using someone elses strength against them....is more effective then spending years in training to get a black belt.

I taught classes in self defense to kids, the elderly and disabled in only 10 simple lessons. 50% is confidence (not behaving like a victim), the other 50% is simple tricks.

Sorry for this rant. But, I think that self defense should be mandatory for any weaker person in society. They should teach it already in highschool. Same as things like CPR, and basic first aid and basic fire fighting.

And if any of you girls and women, think they are not in shape to do it. You are WRONG! I have seen some feeble 80 year old women, being able to do serious dammage.
