It would be helpful, I think, to know who opened the treasure hunt. That way they get the credit and the agency could pay the possibly pay them back.

Skyler that's an excellent idea. Since several agents plays part in winning the trophy it should reflect all of their names, instead of the agent who gets the last key, and gets all the glory. I remember working on a hunt with a couple of other agents and we lacked one key/favor, when the agent got the last key and was fixing to solve the favor, another agent who hadn't been playing in this particular hunt, jumped in the last minute and used her safe skill to steal and stake it away from the agent who had found the last key. Needless to say she was mad and hurt about it. The agent apologized for taking it out from under her nose but still that didn't help much. Anyway, by adding the names of all involved would end problems such as this.

PS: The agent who had the skill to open the safe, jumped in at the last minute and opened and took the trophy out. What made things worse is she new beforehand about the agent holding the last favor because she sent a popup saying, I'm going to go ahead and crack open the safe to get it and I hope you don't get mad about it. Well, I think the agent had a reason to get mad, don't you?

I would be heated if I got snaked out like that... Hell... I wouldn't know what I'd do if I were in that situation. I just know there would be some hurt feelings and I know it wouldn't just be mine. And even if didn't happen to me but happened to someone who was in my agency, I doubt the person snaking the other agent out of the final favor would be in my agency for long. An agency needs team players more than they need glory hounds.

As for having a list of those involved in the hunt, that's actually a good idea. The last one to get the favor/crack the safe shouldn't get all the glory.

As to adding all the names to the trophy solving similar problems to the one Daru described. It probably won't happen. The person instead of just wanting to be the one on the trophy will try to compete for more mentions on the trophy than anyone else. This is a case where the problem lies within the person, not the system.

That was lowdown & sorry. Apologizing before the fact was fruitless. Especially if it was the other agents 1st hunt. What a devastating blow. I'm with Akano if they're not a team player. They wouldn't stay in my agency.

Just to play devil's advocate here (I don't really like what that agent did either), I remember before Ben slowed the hunts back down, the difference of using a key or letting an agent spend 10 minutes solving the last favor was often the difference between whether your agency got the trophy or whether ERT nabbed it.

If that was the issue that person should've said that in the PM rather than "I'm going to crack the safe, hope you don't get mad." Of course I'm not the type of person who would be ultra competitive when it came to hunts. I might be wrong but I seriously think there was another issue going on here.

I suggested adding all the names to the trophy displays some time ago, possibly on the suggestions post on Game Announcements, and there was quite a discussion about it, in case anyone wants to hunt it down.

It's nice to see the topic come up again, because it confirms for me that there was some merit to the idea.

If I did three favors and someone else did one, etc., I don't think it would need to list each one I did for that particular hunt. It could just say "Won by Moonshh, Webb, Jenwin, Stanz and schmunchkins," for example.

Alternatively, there could be a counter that kept track of how many successful hunts each person in the agency has contributed to, rather than a list with each treasure. That would save the Trophy Room from getting cluttered with lists of names but still honor the efforts of those who do many favors for hunts.

Yes, MTBird, it would have been her first. She was so anxious to win one too, and I felt so sorry for her...oh well. Anyway, when I won my first one, I yelled, hollored, screamed and cheered, until it's a wonder a neighbor didn't call the cops...hehe. When I'm playing competitive, I try to help all agents win one. It encourages them to get involved more in the treasure hunts, plus they get to experience the thrill of it.

No, I believe it wasn't done out of spite or to be mean, though it seemed to be at the time. I just think she loved the thrill in winning and wanted to see her name in the lime lights, and how many trophies could be won. However, could have been a bit greedy...lol.
