what is the differences on each of the levels i know the money increases and the skill points do too but what other changes happen when you try the harder levels

i have noticed that beginner is now blacked out and on intermediate i am only getting 1 skill point instead of the 2 i was getting does that mean its time to move on

The differences are: money, exp points (related to skill points), number of suspects and how fast they clam, number of clues, number of fakes vs. true alibis and... (can someone add if I forgot something?).

Only the first level will be blocked after a while. The rest you can play whenever you want. The number of skill points is connected to exp points. So you will earn less skill points but you still get them just slower.
If you feel a level is too easy move up. If you see you cant solve the new level, move back untill you have more skills and equipment.
