I have two suspects so far. One has told me everything, the other will tell me NOTHING but his aliby. What should I do?

if you can't make a descision, quit and start a new one, but if you have a very strong feeling and have at the most one false accusation, take a chance. but that's only when you have a good feeling

ALWAYS ASK MOTIVE FIRST

but that's usually better on the hard cases, o, and get to know how many people there are per case so you'll know when to stop using the motive question

What exactly do you mean with "that's better on hard cases," James? I think it is definitely 100% always best to ask motives first, not only on hard cases.

Why not alibies first? I would think you would want to know that first...guess not, though. I AM new to the game.

sometimes you can get stuck asking alibi's first -- if the person clams after the 1st question, and they are your only suspect then you've lost the case.

because in the easier cases people are way less likely to calm up so you can ask both questions, but when you get to the harder level cases, people clam up on you right away. but if you have iterrogation or sweet talking, it shouldn't matter anyway if you have the proper equipment

Still, why would it be better for you to ask any other question first?

i was afraid it was you kitten, just waiting for my hat to disappear into my stomach. o, and it was just a habit from the begging that began to grow on me, ask alibi first, ask motive second. then i went up to incredibe hard and got the banker as the contact, and that all changed

How often do 'favors' show up? How many favors until the person is a contact?
