i'm not sure whether to learn the lock picking or intermediate sweet talking.. the suspects don't clam up fast even after i managed to persuade them.. i'm doing incredibly hard level and only managed to solve it once.. had to quit the rest of the time.. wat do u think?

Research saves you more than one question, Iury. If you've excluded someone with research, then you don't need to ask the Physical Evidence guys or the other suspects about them.

Lockpicking gives you up to two pieces of information per case. It will either reveal an alibi (or lack thereof, if you find "nothing of value") or other suspects with motives. I mention this because it actually replaces the motive question, not the question about asking if they suspect anyone.

Research is a great skill, but I would still recommend getting all the Sweet Talking you can (assuming you're charming) before either Research or Lock Picking.
