I've been watching and following "American Idol" on Fox network and it's down to nine contestants, one of which is "Carrie Underwood", who has perfect pitch, a crystal clear voice, & by far is the best singer of all. However, the following three contestants are great too, Bo Bice and Anware, and Constatine. By the way Carrie Underwood is from Oklahoma, which is where I was born and raised, so it would be special if she won. I hope it's OK to post this thread and have a discussion as to whom we all like. On by the way, it airs again, next Tuesday night at 7pm. Go Carrie Underwood.

A couple of weeks ago I saw Constantine preform and really liked him, (I hadn't before.) I admit part of my change of opinion was because he is really cute :) I also like Nadia Turner and Scott Saval

Yes, I agree he's really a handsome young man, as well as Anware and Bo. I think alot of people are voting on looks rather than talent. If judged on looks, Carrie would win hands down. Take Scott, he's not handsome, or ladies man, but he has a great voice. Thankfully, people overlooked Rueben Studder's appearance and regardnized he's got talent. Simon, Randy and Paula have stressed to everyone to vote according to talent and not popularity.

True, although popularity may be a better measure of what will make them a star than actual talent.

It helps to be popular. For instance, Johnny Cash, who couldn't sing so well, was loved by millions of fans. His wife, June Carter is another example. She was popular because of who her family was. To me talent brings about popularity in general.

I don't know if my last statement makes sense. I meant Johnny Cash was popular for making something out of his life, after being released from prison, and when he married June Carter that even made him more popular. So regardless whether he could sing good or not, it didn't matter. So yes, popularity counts, but talent is the usual method in bringing about super stardom. Oh well, just my thoughts...lol. Can we say who got kicked off now, pretty please???

I vote it's been long enough now. So, let me just say that I was shocked Anthony wasn't in the bottom three, and I was even more shocked that out of the bottom three, Scott was not booted. I think he needs to be GONE! But Nikko wasn't my favorite either, so I am not too traumatized about his exit, just didn't think it was fair that those other two got to stay on. Any bets on who will be next to go?

I really don't like Scott He NEEDS to go I really like Anwar and Carrie, and Nadia is really good to. I am so glad Nikko is gone. Sorry if I spoiled it for anybody I was really sad that Lindsay left I really lied her. I am also sad that Jessica Sierra left to.; Her and Carrie would have beat all of the contestants. I bet thatNadia will be voted off even though I so like her.

Thanks girls...now the cat's out of the bag. Well, I was surprised that Nikko was voted off before Scott or Anthony, however, though Nikko has a quality voice. I felt he tried to do too much with his voice during a song. So much so that you had a hard time in telling if he was struggling with the song, plus if on pitch or not because of it. As for Anware, I love his stage presence and he's handsome. He has a outstanding high range and if he'll sing songs that features this, and stay with songs to where he can belt the song out, then he stands a real good chance in winning. Like I've said, it's going to be a close race to the finish. Let me see Moonshh, who I'll bet on....hum, I guess I'll stay with Carrie. I think it would be fun, as you suggested, for who wants to here to bet on the contestant they think will win and see who does.

SHOCKED!....can you believe the three in the bottom three tonight? Who would have thought Bo would have been one of them, but thank heavens he got another shot at it. I've noticed that Bo only sings songs with mid range. I haven't heard him hit high or many low notes. I hope he'll really get down and show America what he can do. As far as stage presentation he's an excellent performer/entertainer. I do enjoy watching him. I was surprised at Carrie singing a rocker type song. It just wasn't her, but she pulled it off ok. If she'll stick with country songs, then I feel she can win it. I loved the song recorded and sung tonight by the final twelve idols. It put goose bumps on my arms. Well, that's my take on it this week. Ta ta.

*doesn't want to give too much away on the off chance that Stanz or someone else in her situation might read this*

*however must sulk because the WRONG person was voted off*

*thinks the performances last night were fun, though, way better than the stupid musicals episode, thank goodness*
