I've been watching and following "American Idol" on Fox network and it's down to nine contestants, one of which is "Carrie Underwood", who has perfect pitch, a crystal clear voice, & by far is the best singer of all. However, the following three contestants are great too, Bo Bice and Anware, and Constatine. By the way Carrie Underwood is from Oklahoma, which is where I was born and raised, so it would be special if she won. I hope it's OK to post this thread and have a discussion as to whom we all like. On by the way, it airs again, next Tuesday night at 7pm. Go Carrie Underwood.

Ben, Texan likes Bo too. He's such a natural on stage and can sing anything. It seems this year, these contestants are all great and anyone of them could be our next winner, except the blonde, tall and slender guy,(Anthony??), I think he'll be voted off next or Scott.

I like carrie, who is one of my favorites to win, and Bo. I didn't like Constantine at first, but do now. Scott has GOT TO GO after this week's performance.


(the gasp was about Anthony... I would like to see him make the final 3 or so)

Sorry jojo, I didn't mean to knock Anthony. I think he has a good voice, but when you compare him to Bo, and the other contestants mentioned here, his mid to low range is extremely weak in contrast to the others, but there again, there's a few weeks left and he just might prove me wrong. Depending on the song selections, this could make or break them. However, as Simon says, a true star/singer should be able to sing any style of song they are challenged with.

I think they've scripted the judges a little too much this year. Used to be that Paula would occasionally be mean, and Simon would (very) occasionally be nicer than the others.

Everyone, please do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT post the vote-off-ee. There are some, like Stanz, who are devote fans, but don't see the show for a few days.

So, please, don't post who got kicked off.

Ah shucks jojo I couldn't wait to sign on after the showed aired to share comments with everyone, but then I read your plea to keep quite, so I will. IT won't be easy to sleep with this on my mind, but somehow I'll manage, until tomorrow, nighty night.

Ben, it's hard to really know, and it could be scripted. Seems Paula lately makes safe comments about everybody, whether it's after their performances, or when Ryan ask her what she thinks about the three with the lowest votes. Paula always says this: "I like them all", which is a safe way of not hurting anyone's feelings. But, even though Simon's deals harsh blows to the losers, they all seem to respect him regardless because they all know he knows what he's talking about. Randy seems to stay in the middle of the road when they're being voted off.

I liked what Paula said tonight, that they were all winners. That they'd all get record deals because of what they've accomplished, and I'm sure they'll all make it big eventually.

This is the first season I've watched Idol, and I've only been watching since the final 12, but I've been having fun with it. I was thrilled when Mikalah was sent home; it didn't happen soon enough for me. I won't ruin tonight's show for anyone - I know it'll be two days until Stanz sees it BUT can I just say that I was shocked at the bottom three tonight? It was not what I would have predicted...nor was the person who was sent home...

*shushes*
