Happy easter, all, from ERF TEAM!

The day was grey, windy, chilly. I flipped up the collar of my trench coat as I walked along, head down so the brim of my hat shielded my eyes from the breeze.

I was deep in thought, working over the clues of my current case. I did my best thinking when I was walking...or drinking. I did my best work in the dark. Then she hopped right in to me. Yeah, hopped.

The dame was obivously crazy, dressed like a bunny, hopping down the street carrying a basket of Easter eggs. She was grinning like a loon as she reached into her basket.

I reached for my piece. Yeah I was packing heat, I always did. You never knew when some slime like Murry the Mug would send a few of his hired thugs to gun you down. Or a dame dressed like a bunny.

From the basket she pulled one of the brightly colored eggs, bright pink and yellow, and handed it to me. I held it to my ear but didn't hear any ticking. It wasn't gonna explode.

"Happy Easter!" She said. Then still smiling she hopped off, handing out eggs to everyone she passed. I watched her go, actually I was watching her tail. A fluffy cotton tail.

Then the bells chimed. She'd stopped me in front of a church. The doors opened and people spilled out. Women in pastel dresses and frilly hats, men in suits. Happy people who knew nothing of the dark dirty side of the city.

I was greeted and wished happy Easter as people filed past me and I looked back in time to see that bunny hop around the corner. I smiled and said to no one in particular "Happy Easter."

How Creative Peter! Happy Easter to everyone and as with Christmas lets not forget the meaning of it all :)

Yes, with christmas you get better food, then just easter eggs. :) KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!

Jstkdn, you would like my family's Easter. We always have a big turkey dinner just like Christmas. In fact better, because you can concentrate on cooking after Church instead of opening pressies.
