Couple of questions

First: If I'm in the middle of a case and for some reason can't finish it today, does it continue over into the next day i.e can I log in tomorrow and finish it up? If it does roll over does it count as 1 of next day's 3 cases i.e do I get to finish that and only have 2 more? Or do I get to finish it and have my regular 3 waiting?

Second: Does the gear available in the shop change? So far I don't see half the stuff there that I see on other people's detective page. Are things you can buy added as your experience rises? Or do you just have to wait to do favors and get stuff that way?

Third: If you do a favor but don't solve the case does that lower the chances of you doing another favor any time soon? I got hit with a hard favor my second day while I was still doing beginner and I falsely accused, does that lower my "standing" with the person I did the favor for?

I can answer a few questions, the rest I will leave to someone else haha When ur working on a case, and u can't finish it, u can store it in your case files, and when u log back on you can resume where u left off..and I think u still have ur 3 regular cases waiting...not sure on that.

If u dont solve a case thats a favor, I dont think it lowers ur chances....it hasnt me. If u falsely accuse it doesn't lower your standings with the person u did a fav for but if u get 3 falseys ur detective gets retired. If u get 2 falses, ur best bet is to pay Shady before u get to 3.

The equipment u can get, u can buy at the detective store, or when u solve favor cases, you are rewarded with different equipment. I don't think anything is added because your experience raises but I could be wrong. I'm sure more experienced detectives can help u better :)

1. If you have an open case you are working on, it will be there when you log back on, and you will still have all your daily cases for the next day, too.

2. As far as I know, the gear in the shop doesn't change. The gear at Big Lucy's changes, and the gear you get in favors changes as you get to harder favors. The factions sell some gear that is available only through them, and there is some gear available through almost impossible cases. You can access to the best gear the fastest by subscribing and joining an agency with a well-equipped equipment locker.

3. It generally takes four successfully solved cases to earn a favor, so if you don't solve your favor correctly, you will need four regular cases to earn your next favor. But it doesn't impact your standing with the townsperson.
