how often do you get favours asked?
is there any way to increase the frequency?

For me, after solving 4 cases, I get a favor after the 4th solved case...or is it 3? I know after 3 or 4 cases solved, you get a favor.

Right - it's generally after four successfully solved cases, so if you do a favor, then three more cases should get you to another favor.

There is no way (in theory) to get favors at a faster rate than every 4th case - however, (I think this is a bug), sometimes one comes up sooner (or later) than the count indicates. The only way you will find the 'sooner' ones is to ask for a favor after every case.
