Hi, I just found this game a couple of days ago and already I'm addicted, the only problem is I'm a woman, and stumped for a name I used Peter Gunn LMAO

Does that mean anything? Would some shrink tell me that it's a sign of repressed male tendencies and I have a subconscious desire to be a male detective? Ugh I hope my boyfriend doesn't find out!

Seriously, is there any way to change something like that...besides starting over?

Hey Peter Gunn the female, welcome!!!

I am IRL a woman, and my character was a male until yesterday.

The sex change can be performed by starting over. Most people do so anyway, after figuring out the strategy of the game. To build their detective better.

Another way is by asking Ben nicely. But he may only do that for subbed detectives. Otherwise it becomes a lot of work, to do that for a lot of people that change their minds a few days later.

Good luck playing!

I may just start over since my boyfriend says he might like to play I'll let him take over Peter, though I really think he wants to be Magnum PI LOL

Thanks for the reply JS.

Not really Peter Gunn. Det. Fresh by accident posted something, that was meant to go in to another discussion. In order not to confuse you or anyone else, she asked me to delete it.

You would think that the Mods have such fun reading all of the (dramatic pause) deleted replies. Really, it's mostly us sparing you the knowledge of how often people accidentally post the same message two or three times.

Sleuth has, to my eye, one of the most mature and civil message boards on the internet. People even spell correctly (most of the time)!
