I've been playing for over a month,& haven't subscribed, because I wanted to see how things went and if I done well enough to subscribe, and buy or be a part of an agency. It has taken me forever to get enough money together to rent my own agency, or be a partner with those who has an establishment. Could someone explain a little more in detail as to what my duties are when renting, or do I need more advanced skills, and so forth before doing this. I'd love to hear everyone's input...thanks!

Well thanks Vixen, I just don't yet? I was thinking if Benny could draw us a picture, then more may be willing to take the plunge. (But if too complicated or not worth the effort, then just forget it) Have to go now.

There's not much to see. There is a link to the Equipment Locker where coats hats and accessories are stored. There is a link to Case Files where you can store a case or go back and work on it or someone else's case. There is a link to the office safe where you can deposit money for the agency. The daily rent comes out of the safe. There is also an agency message board. Hope this helps.

Oh, and some agencies also have crime labs to analyze evidence.

First off...Subscribing is a great deal. The fact that you get 8 cases vs. 3 cases is worth it right there, even if you don't join an agency.

Second off...Agencies are fun. You've got your private message boards within your agency that (if you've got the right people, and we do) are funny and informative and a really interesting way to meet people. The equipment locker is a great way to get good equipment (based on agency mates getting equipment that they might not need and just store for agency use). Plus, if you are in an agency the agency usually will accumulate a good deal of money so you've got someone to bankroll your trips to the shady character. Perhaps the best thing about agencies is the ability to store cases so that an agency mate that has a contact that clammed up on you can help you solve the case as well as occasionally get another chance at a witness or suspect that clammed.

Third...Crime lab is nice, but in general if you have enough people with the contacts you need it doesn't really come in handy. It basically, once a day, allows you to check a piece of evidence in a case that an agency mate has stored and lets you see if you can determine it's origin (ie see if a hair is curly or straight or if a footprint comes from a heavy or slim person).

Finally..Eight bucks for three months is a heckuva deal. Look around at other games on-line (Runescape, Yohoho, Everquest) and you'll see that subscribing is a fantastic deal. It's almost too good for the price (Ben, you didn't read that last part).

Additionally, if you had the barber as a contact, I'd just about be ready to offer you a position in the most exciting, fun-filled, whiz-bang agency out there. <shameless plug>

Hope this helps.

JasonS53 Yes I always Thought it was a good deal too! Just the caseload/realife thing that's been holding me back all along, kept figuring I'd just wait till I could more. But skip that for now, because I do want to be able to start to the the other things. Thanks, yes it helped, all good reasons!
