Is the cities update only for subscribers? I noticed that it says that one of the cities takes four turns to get to, and non-subscribers only get 3 a day. Also, now that there are new cities full of contacts, will we be able to have more contacts? (I assume they were limited previously)

Unfortunately for you, traveling to different cities is a privilege only subscribers have. And yes, you can have more contacts in other cities. You still get one evidences and one non evidence contact. Hope it helps.
