Most favors, successfully solved, result in a gift of gear which is handy to use or to sell. But when you get a contact, instead of a gift, the townsperson tells you they'll be happy to help you out in the future.

They won't just say you can not do a favor and hand you the key or anything like that, so they help with hunts no more they do than daily cases.
