first off, LOVE the game. one teensy little suggestion. is there some way we could "cross off" suspects as we eliminate them. Obviously we would need to be able to still ask them questions, but mybe somewhere on the case page? just a thought.
keep up the great work!! (can't wait to get some $$ so i can travel; all my suspects have been guilty lately)

That'd probably be too much information in one place to leave any thought to the easier cases. But maybe it could be made a skill that gets unlocked after a certain number of experience points, to ensure the detective is normally doing the harder level cases when they get the ability. The easiest cases would be real easy at that point anyway, so it'd make the skill just a convienance for those going to the next favor in a hunt.

Yeah, we've thought about automatically ruling out suspects for the players, but decided that a lot of players really enjoy the note taking and cross referencing aspects of the game. Maybe the low level mysteries should help out with that though...

I don't think suspects should be ruled out automatically. I think they should be ruled out naturally.
:)
I would like to see a way to "highlight" the suspects with fake/none alibis. That way I wouldn't have to click on each suspect a thousand times to remember what was happening every time I was called away from the computer for mundane life experiences.
Hey, if it could happen, than, ........YO!
If it can't happen, than again, .......YO!
Either way, you just got a yo-yo!!
The Burgermeister Meisterburger is looking for you! He always wanted a yo-yo!
I don't want to know why he wanted to arrest the penguin! Only the shady character knows!

try opening a note pad and double click and paste suspects names, alibis etc... its really handy cause u can see it next to the game instead of clicking back and forth.

I had the same problem, until i made myself a worksheet in excel and I enter all info on the sheet. If you would like a template, pm me and I will forward you my worksheet.
Good luck

As for me I'm almost done my note taking program. I just have to add a couple functions and I'm done. I am such a nerd putting all this time into making something that can already be done through paper and pen.

thats what i use..a paper and pen and write all the suspects names down and write fake alibi or real alibe beside it....might take a little longer but, oh well...I dont mind :)

I just remember it all and keep it in my head. kind of got a system where i remember all the fakes and recognize the true allibis when i see them. the trees also appreciate it.

I use Microsoft Word in another window and only use it to record the names of people with false/no alibis...
