I've had this idea before, but the recent exploits of TAKKDD have solidified my idea that it might actually be possible: The First Annual Sleuth Convention. Why not?

The ideal place would, of course, be the mecca of it all--Boulder, Colorado. But if Ben & Sunny don't want all the hoopla so close to home, anywhere else would be fine as well. We could plan it a few months out so that people have time to plan up & save for airfare, etc. Those who are interested can come and meet those they know (and don't know) from Sleuth.

Want even more fun? What if everyone dressed up like a character from Sleuth (your character, the butcher, the lady with the magnifying glass, Larry the Toe, etc)?

Would anyone besides me & Moonshh be interested? Or is this a totally lame idea?

Right, so I was thinking about this and I realised how perfect my hometown would be for a Sleuth Convention. It rains all the time and is grey. We have a lot of Victorian old buildings. We have a haunted castle. We have a habour/ports/docks. We have a Victorian Styled train station (great to insert those twists). As for factions, well, our Mayor is Chinese... not only that there a two big Chinese families with vast warehouses and close ties to the local Casino. There's also the &*^% family who are of Lebanese origin who own most of the real estate. There's a lot of seedy bars with those Shady characters too...

Well, NZ would be great! I would love to get back there someday! However, it's possible that the planefare might deter a person or two from the other side of the world...

I think the first places to hold these meetings would logically be:

New York
London
Delhi
Shanghai

And we need to find a podiatrist or foot doctor to take our frustrations out on (hehe)
