I've had this idea before, but the recent exploits of TAKKDD have solidified my idea that it might actually be possible: The First Annual Sleuth Convention. Why not?

The ideal place would, of course, be the mecca of it all--Boulder, Colorado. But if Ben & Sunny don't want all the hoopla so close to home, anywhere else would be fine as well. We could plan it a few months out so that people have time to plan up & save for airfare, etc. Those who are interested can come and meet those they know (and don't know) from Sleuth.

Want even more fun? What if everyone dressed up like a character from Sleuth (your character, the butcher, the lady with the magnifying glass, Larry the Toe, etc)?

Would anyone besides me & Moonshh be interested? Or is this a totally lame idea?

Does anyone live near St. Louis? Seattle is over in the corner and St. Louis is more in the middle and near more states. I think it would be more convenient for everyone.

I don't think that I could get to seattle but I'm pretty sure that I could go to St. Louis.

I think it's looking more and more like lots of little get-togethers first.

Then maybe a big thing later?

I agree. I don't think there has been enough interest demonstrated to organize a big gathering.

As for me, I'm in Philly but I'm willing to head down to Florida or up to New York since I have friends and family in both places

LOL Balash, I hope there is heating in that barn. And I think det. Fresh should exchange her summer shoes for snow boots.

I think lots of smaller gatherings, will be an automatic step for a big get together. It would function as a reunion.

If someone is ever in the neighbourhood of the Netherlands. It is quite easy to meet up with Reda and myself, although we never met, we pretty much live in each others back yard.

A way in which I see people a lot, is that they make sure they have a stopover on their way to some place else. I have done plenty of short get togethers at an airport.

I think first things first, figuring out where everyone lives. I would be willing to stick it in to HTML, if Ben would be willing to put it on the site. People that want to disclose their RL location, can do so. Those that don't don't.
