Just to elaborate on DaRu's comment - Rule Bending and Sweet Talking are fundamentally the same skill, but Rule Bending is used on townspeople and Sweet Talking is used on your suspects.

Same with Intimidation and Interrogation.

Also, the notice never says anyone needs to be Sweet Talked. It says you'd be better off as either "nice" our "tough."

Plus, in my experience, by the time you get the advanced version of these skills, about 95% of the time it won't matter whether the suspect or townsperson prefers nice or tough.

Since I was promoting the old threads, I figured I'd find one of the oldest around. While I found a couple a little older than this one, I liked it because it gives a little insight as to how the original detectives worked to figure out the game.

Hope you've all enjoyed this little journey through time. I promise not to do it too often. ;)
