I am a new subscriber. When does the "day" start? Is it an East or West Coast time zone or does that mean 8 cases in a 24 hr. period?

The server resets daily at 01:14 according to my clock (which is on Central time).

I wonder if there could be a better way to do this? I'm in Europe, and have to wait until circa 10:00 before I can start playing!

Matt, I am in Europe too. As the server turns at midnight, yes some may have an advantage, as they are actually there when it happens. So they could play double cases in a row. However, that limits them the next time they log on. But yes in a treasure hunt, it could make all the difference.

As we have players all over the world, but the vast majority in in North America. The time should not change.

It is not a good idea, for it to be set by the time of your computer, instead of the server. Then you can easily change your computer time to by pass it.

I think the only logical way to change it. If Ben lets us select the hour, in which we get our new cases individually, and that is linked by to the server time.

This may be a lot of work for Ben though. And I am sure all of us rather have him work on the new additions to the game.

Thanks for bringing it up. I thought about it as well.

I would say, if anybody has an advantage due to server time, it would be people who live in Asia, who see the clock flip in the early evening, generally a more convenient time to play than midnight, for most people.

That said, I really don't think it makes much of a difference when your cases roll over. More important, for competitive agencies, is when the new hunts start, but they can start 4 times a day.
