Once you have three false accusations and lose, you should be able to use the same name as before. Since im not very good at this game, im running through quite a few names, and its getting hard to remember who i am. :(

This seems to be something that belongs on the Newbie Board however I'll be glad to address this.
The only advice I can give you are that in order to prevent the loss of your detective, go to Shady and pay him off when you get to two false accusations or if you aren't sure you know who it is (fake alibi and evidence or fake alibi and two witness evidences) don't accuse just quit the case.

*Two witness evidences are enough*
as well as a false/no alibi and a piece of evidence (witness or physical)

I've heard of people getting falses with people with fake alibis and only one witness. Plus I've had one case where two fake alibis had witness info pointing at each other

Well so much for hear say... Guess that is what I get for assuming...
I did lift this from the Newbie FAQ
3) How do I know which suspect is guilty?
You need to establish three things before you can prove a suspect guilty:

The suspect must have a motive.
The suspect can either have no alibi, or the alibi they give must be proven false.
You must uncover a piece of physical or witness evidence implicating the suspect.

No alibi/false alibi and one witness evidence and i had to pay the shady!! Twice!!!!
No alibi/false alibi and physical evidence seems to be ok.

Maybe that is because research would have cleared the person?

Combined I have completed over 500 cases and Have yet to false using those methods.
I guess it is up to you and what you are comfortable with.
Different strokes for different folks I guess. :)
