I was told the Administrators are looking for persons to submit a mystery case to solve, and if chosen they will give you a free subscription to Slueth. If this is true, I'd like to give it a try & submit one. If anyone has done this, or knows about it, please let me know. 2-4-6-8, who do we a-ppre-ci-ate......SLUETH!! Take care everyone, & I'm outta here for today. Bye

["Cut" scene] So I hears you're off doing good work, Sirgarr. Checking in on all those heirs of Pansy's friends. Be a shame if anything "happened" to you...

By the way - jojo227, you actually need to send a case, just a case idea won't get you a free subscription.

What about this:

[The Mind-Boggling Case of the Unknown Force]

I was taking a study break with some friends this week when I decided to tickle one of them, to relieve the stress level of the room. Naturally, revenge was expected, so I ran into my room then tried to close the door behind me.

Unfortunately, there was an equal and opposite force and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the door shut. Desperate and at my wit's end, I tried to peep through the crack in the door.

To my horror (!!), I couldn't see anyone outside! Curiosity finally got the better of me and I opened the door to investigate. No one was in sight! Apparently, I was the only childish person in the study group.

'Fine deduction, Diane. But then, how do you explain the pushing against the other side of the door?' I asked myself.

I looked down: A single stuffed toy had come between the door and its frame, jamming the attempted closure.

It was indeed an equal and opposite force. My own.

(Shd I have put this on "Real Life and Hilarious Things Instead? I already mis-posted it on another thread..)

There seems to be some renewed interest in submitting featured mysteries. I should really provide a Word template for download.

I've gotten a few submissions, but really Wayne's was the only one that was developed and polished enough to be useable. Unfortunately, for those people who haven't already read one of the other featured mysteries, it can be difficult to explain what writing one entails. It's not a coincidence that the only useable player-submitted mystery I've recieved has been from a subscriber who already played the other featured mysteries.
