How do I get on their good side? So far I am so in the negative I don't know what to do. ANd you know how it will say that a certain faction would like this case to go away....if I quit will that bring up my standing with them?

You should also go see them. They might have a job you can do to raise your rating.

If you are negative with a faction, they won't let you in to see the boss, and you can't do a little favor til you are positive.

Only way to get up from negative is to quit every case that brings you down with that faction, and solve every one that brings you up. Favors don't count either way, in spite of what the lady with the magnifying glass suggests.

since u r a charming detective you might want to consider the OS or DA as factions. The cosa wont be as usefull to you as the others.

Pick one faction do the cases they want and quit the rest. When you are on their good side, go visit the boss. Do the daily jobs he gives EVERY day.

LCN is mostly for tough stuff. There's one for smarts, though.

You will need to get Lock Picking using the skill points you earn by doing cases. I suggest research before lock picking. Research will eliminate a suspect who has a false alibi!

Definitely get research before lockpicking. But get lockpicking early too. Its like one or two free questions.
