I played this back in '06 or 07' I think... surprised to see the site is still up so a few questions:

-who do I talk to for assistance in reactivation? I dont have access to the email attached to my detective so long ago

-is it still worth it to play? how many sleuths are still here on average these days?

-was there any other updates/upgrades after shades of mystery?

- The subscriber help centre gives an email address: help@hypoware.com.

- I started back in '06 and have been dipping in and out erratically since, depending on what RL was throwing at me. I still enjoy the puzzle elements, and I have some goals I'm working towards at a glacial speed, but I've mostly played this game as a 'lone wolf', so it doesn't really matter so much to me how many other sleuths are around. Plus it's always been quite a lot quieter in my time zone (UK), so I'm not really sure how active things are, other than that the message boards are pretty quiet.

- Nemesis hunts and Carousel Furores were the two big updates - have a wander through the message boards to find out more. I'm not sure if the Furores are working at the moment, though - they've been a bit buggy over the years and I've never really played them much. I got the feeling that given the rewards you needed to be more of an active player than I am to get the most out of them. Nemesis hunting is good, though - I'm currently aiming to be the slowest sleuth ever to catch my nemesis...

Thank you for the reply. Has there been any talk tho of updating this somewhat or any game mode plans at all?

Any talk of udpating the game would probably take place amongst that Admins and powers that be. I'm sure if there is talks, they will post in the Game Announcements Board when they have something concrete.
