Everybody as excited as me, seeing the link in city hall in terms of a MAJOR upgrade to Sleuth????

Seems like there is going to be a substantial amount of "sacrifice" to be made if an agency moves to another city, like losing the use of current contacts. But in a way, that is like "starting over" again, I guess.

Yeah, that's one of the many things I've been wondering about (and probably won't find an answer to before the expansion :D ) - will it be possible to change contacts, do detectives get new contacts in the new cities in addition to those they have here or does it mean those of us who've been around the block more than once by now won't be able to help out in a new place, and what happens if 2 contatcs is still the limit and a relatively new detective gets his or her contacts in 2 different cities?? Just getting curiouser and curioser :D

I suspect we'll get 2 contacts in each city, assuming the other cities are about the size of New York. I also assume we'll get to keep our current contacts, but won't be able to use them unless we're in this city.

Will keep their fame points when they move? What I mean is a possibility of multiple agency high score lists, a list for each city.

We already know that agents not in the city the agency is based in won't be able to access some stuff - but what about the agencies with more money, will it be possible to headquarter them in more than one city by buying more than one piece of land and paying daily rent for each location?

Yes, if an agency moves to a new city, all their fame and trophys come with them.

There will still be an overall high scores list for all agencies, although I will probably add individual ones for each city as well.

If you are in a city that is not your agency's home base, you work out of a "field office", which doesn't have all the features of the main headquarters. I may make it possible to upgrade each field office with a small equipment locker and filing cabinet, but you will always be at a disadvantage when away from home.
