I know they're not entirely useless as you sometimes need to spent them on certain nemmy tasks or if you need to search for hidden artifacts.
But why not make them eve more useful as for instance you can trade them in for Shady reduction vouchers to pay off FAs? Like every 500 points can be traded for a voucher. Or 100 points can be traded for 10% reduction 200 points for 20% reduction etc ...
