So, as per end of 2020 Adobe Flash will be discontinued. What does this mean for Sleuth? Will there be a transition to another system or will the plug be pulled out?

Yes, I was wondering this too. I read on another site that something called HTML 5 has been developed as a replacement for Flash. No idea if that will be used here or how easily that could be doe.

Well darn, I hope so, since I've already paid into the new year!

Is it even built on flash? I was just checking and Flash is blocked from Chrome by default for me...

Shades is in flash, though.

I think it is not built on flash, I checked the game info tab, in the lower part, there is written there on what platforms sleuth is built on. But I am not a computer expert, so I might be wrong. :D

I sure hope so and that it will have no effect on Classic Sleuth. Probably on SoM. Hopefully Classic Sleuth will continue even after SoM needs to be severed.

Yeah, I don't think it's built on flash either, but fingers crossed Classic Sleuth continues into the new year.

Noir will carry on as it has been.

Shades will be shut down at the beginning of the year, or around there, as it is indeed built on Flash!

A case of where sometimes simpler is better. :D Thanks for confirming!
