Does the Reindeer Hoof Rack ONLY store the Christmas 2016 Reindeer Costume, or can it store ANY 5 items?

Darnit. I tried it, it's locked to only those who have the costume. I guess it unlocks for you if you get it.

To be able to use the reindeer hatrack, you must own the reindeer equipment. You first put the reindeer items into it, then you exchange them for ordinary items. You can take out any item whenever you want, but to put an ordinary item back, you need to repeat the process, i.e. put a reindeer item into the hatrack and exchange it for an ordinary item again. Without the reindeer equipment, the hatrack is useless.

Unfortunately, you can't get the reindeer gear anymore, it was created specially for the Christmas competition 2016.

I was being a bit thick when I answered your question. I didn't realize the reindeer hoof racks were still available for purchase and *assumed* you already had one - but of course you're much too young to have purchased one when that Christmas special was running. My bad. :(
