A little story to start, skip the first paragraph for the actual question if you don't feel like reading through this. So, I read an advice somewhere on here that you could swap out equipment, rotating in smart equipment before searching the crime scene, then switching to tough or charming equipment before interviewing suspects and witnesses. And to do so, one would need an apartment, and furniture to actually store your extra equipment.

So I arrive at these questions.

1. You need to be subscribed to purchase an apartment, right? What's the floor area for the first and second cheapest rooms? I found another site that lists floor area occupied by each furniture, and I am wondering if the largest equipment storage can fit in the floor area of the cheapest room, assuming no other furniture will be bought.

2. Once the subscription expires, can you still swap the equipment in and out of the drawer? I did read that you can still access the apartment itself, and take out your equipment, but I would like to know if you can put IN your equipment into the storage.

Hopefully someone can help me with these.

Agency rent is collected every day, regardless of the subscription status of the agents. If you fall behind a few days you’ll be locked out. Unlike olden days, the agency and everything on it still exists, you just won’t be able to access anything until you pay up (rent doesn’t keep accruing once you’re locked out -an agency that’s been inactive for years can be reactivated fairly cheaply).
