I know we're all meant to observe good social distancing measures during these lockdown times, but isn't the little nemesis urchin taking it all a bit too far? Where is he hiding out? He could easily call out to us from the recommended 2 metres away and lay his little piece of paper on the ground. He doesn't actually need to have any physical human contact. He can catch the loose change we give him in his pocket - and wash the coins before handling.

I can't recall how many days I've waited to see him now. But it's the most ever.

Mine was a few days...I almost gave up hope. But then he showed up and I was never more happy to see him.

On a side note in regards to Social Distancing. My state and more importantly county is a huge hot zone for this mess, and we're now sheltered until the end of May with a possibility it will extend again through summer. I've started talking to the walls, but thats not the worst part.. I'm pretty sure the walls are talking back to me.... :P

Misha, he keeps getting quarantined for not practicing good hand washing habits. Surely the butcher can teach him a thing of two about good hygiene.

Spotted the urchin in London today. He cane right up to me - no social distancing at all - and when he proffered his note his grubby little knuckles brushed right across my hand. I've washed them 5 times already.

Well he finally showed up in London for me too. I wanted to hug him but, of course, I couldn't. Hope he doesn't stay away so long next time.
