Yetiface kindly fixed the Carousel Furores today. Please help us by try them out when you have time and post any problems you run into here.

Well this is a problem. Second time I tried a furore. Showed my ticket, entered the chatroom, waited for the countdown to finish ... and then I couldn't get any clues at all. I couldn't even talk to the youth to ask them to spy for me. Nothing worked.

I'm not a big fan of the furores but unfortunately the nemesis hunt forces you to play them. Can these tasks be removed from the nemmy hunts if the furores don't work properly?

Cro, I was in the same furore. I saw your name in the chatroom, then you disappeared quite quickly. Did you click "leave' at the end of the countdown or wait for the Vortex (as Bela calls it) to suck you into the furore? I know that sometimes when people leave the chatroom by themselves, they can't get into the furore. The advice then is usually to go to the Carousel and just try riding on one of the horses. That seems to work for some.

However, I also had a slight glitch - though it seemed to correct itself after a minute or so. When I tried to 'Speak to the Youths' I was taken back to the clue grid. This happened several times. I left it a short while and later it was working just fine.

Katya, yes I did click on "leave". It was never a problem in the past but after the "big fix" ... who knows? Oddly enough I did get messages when you and the others finished. I'll try the "vortex" next time, lol.

About 8 minutes into the 09.45 furore today, there was suddenly an immensely long wait for a page to upload and then the 'server maintenance' web page uploaded. I tried to log in again several times but was continually informed that the site was currently down for server maintenance. I was only able to log in again about 5 minutes ago.

However, when I logged in I saw that the other players had been able to complete the furore. Can a server be down for only some players and not for others? I wouldn't have thought that possible. Anyhow I saw that about 17 mins of the furore were left so went on to try and collect clues - but nothing was available. At the telescope (although it gave the message about 'the clues have been redistributed etc) I got the script: "I looked through the telescope. The sea was calm, and in the distance I could see the Sleuthetania on the first day of its journey to Shanghai.

I looked around to see if I could find anything resembling a clue for the Furore, but there was nothing to be found. Perhaps I should check back later."

So it seems as if the furore *was* over.

All very confusing. I assume there must have been an emergency for the server to shut down during a furore. It would be interesting to hear what the other players experienced.

So the 10:15 furore for today has disappeared all together. The next one that it scheduled is correct, but this one has just disappeared all together.

I just finished a furore and several times I was kicked out of the arcade when I pulled the lever.

I just noticed that the 13.15 furore for today has disappeared from the schedule. One of my alts has a ticket. It will be interesting to see if the seaplane turns up and the the furore goes ahead.

^ So the 13.15 furore didn't go ahead: no seaplane, no 10-minute reminder, nothing.
