For all those budding sleuths out there I need you to answer me a question, who or what is Neurocam? I know this may sound simple, but believe me these people weave a mysterious web.

No it would not be all ya'll because that would be double negative. Besides I was making a reference on an individual basis. So yes it should have been just what I said ya'll & you. Guess you've never been below the Mason-Dixon line before.

This is an interesting discussion on English, but I think it depends where you're from. I was in the Caribbean for six months, and there they say y'all. A double negative wouldn't rule out what JoJo's saying though - slang abounds in double-negatives.

I can't see how "y'all" is a double negative, or "all y'all."
"All y'all" would be repetetive, perhaps, as "y'all" = the contraction of "you all," as far as I understand, the informal plural "you" which we don't formally have in English but which some other languages do have.

Wow, a free lesson in english about y'all. What happened to neurocam.
Anyway, in the books I've read, I always thought of it as y'all=you all.
It's slang and doesn't matter much to me...

I'm far from being an English expert, but I figure it was said right, in this case it's ya'll. I see where the suspicion comes from for it maybe being all ya'll - but I can't figure where the double negative would be in all ya'll.

All I can say is no one of you have spent time in the south. Ya'll can be used to imply 1 person or a group of people. Therefore since my sentence subject was directed to an individual basis & not a collective group.

Strange site, but since they didn't ask for any real information, I joined just to check it out.

Yes it is slang & improper English to use Ya'll. Therefore, it does not really matter how I used it in the first place.
