Hello all, just a quick one.. I know 3 false accusations deactivate your detective but what happens with quiting a case?

No, there aren't any cases out there that can't be solved when they are started, however many cases later become unsolvable when people clam up (the only way to solve for sure then is to get physical evidence against someone with a known false alibi or no alibi (the lockpicking skill/suspect revealed that suspect to have no alibi, the suspect didn't just clam up when asked for an alibi)). However cases where noone will talk and a piece of physical evidence cannot be attributed to someone with an already confirmed no alibi/false alibi should always be quit (unless you already have 2 witness evidence that point to the same person and that person has a known motive, if this is the case the person in question can be accused safely).

Bernus, I didn't say I was too lazy, thank you very much. :) I said I was too STUBBORN to quit. I also said that it was not worth paying Shady.

In short, all cases CAN be solved IF you have the right amount of skill, equipment, and sometimes just plain old luck. :)

I suffered from the stubborn symptom too. I also thought, I was an exceptionally good guesser.

....until I ran in to money problems that is.
