The Furore seems to be broken. I have a ticket for today (09-16) at 12:30pm and am in New York. But when I go to the Boardwalk, it says I have to pay $100 to get in. If you look at the other post titled "Furor glitch?" you can see that there are other agents having similar issues. Looking back at the City News, no one has won a furor since Sep-7-2018 at 12:56... before the outage.

The ticket is still showing as a mission ("You have a ticket to a Carousel Furore at the Battery Boardwalk on Sunday at 12:30.') even though it is now 12:33pm .

Please fix the Furore.

I would love to see Ben sell this passion project to a company or coder that could really build into it and expand it. After all these years, it is still the most unique and best detective game on the web!! I'm really grateful to Ben for what he created. Would love to see his dream be expanded on!!

Hopefully whilst he has his foot up (having wrecked it) he'll do some catch up. He did say that's what he was doing or was that going to do when I was talking to him yesterday... He did just fix Murder in Manhattan (and the bug that has resulted in some other evidence in SM's going rogue) not that many would have noticed it was broken... but hey, small victories.

Another Nemesis hunt blocked because of the furore glitch. When my subscription expires, I won't resub until the problem is resolved.

I quick playing Sleuth for a while because of the lag time mentioned in another post. When you have to wait 12 seconds between clicks and it takes three clicks just to find out if one suspect is guilty or not, it just sucks the joy right out of playing. However, I recently resubbed specifically because of the Nemesis hunts, and now I'm stalled because of the furore glitch. Thankfully I only subscribed for two months.

I feel your pain, Sleuth Sindy - the lag is real. It's always been a bit of a problem - but it seems a bit worse since I came back. And of course you have to be careful about "repeat clicking" in certain situations, as this can result in clams. So I wait ... and wait .. and wait ... LOL.

My subs end in November, so I will see how I am feeling about it then. It's a game, so we need to enjoy it and let it be a recreation and refreshing break from RL stresses :) :) If it causes more stress, that's certainly not a good thing :(
